Atlanta, GA (April 20, 2021) – Hancock Askew & Co., LLP, a full-service audit, tax, accounting and advisory firm is proud to announce the hire of Nirav Shah as the new Principal of IT Risk & Assurance out of the Atlanta office.
As Principal, Nirav will provide additional leadership to the IT Risk & Assurance team at the firm. His focus will not only be in excellent client service but in business development efforts. Nirav will work closely with the Partners and other members of leadership to strategically grow the practice and strengthen relationships with centers of influence and industry leaders.
Nirav has more than 15 years of experience specializing in IT and Business Process Audits/Attestations and Non-Attestations reports (e.g., SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, HIPAA, Controls Optimizations, SOX, Agreed Upon Procedures, Microsoft SSPA, NTIS DMF, etc.) with the Big4 and National firms. He has served clients ranging from Fortune 500 to start-ups to scope, assess and provide tailored and actionable recommendations to meet and enhance their compliance posture. Nirav graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP). He is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).
