Managing Director of Transaction Advisory Services, has Joined the Firm

Atlanta, GA (May 11, 2021) – Hancock Askew & Co., LLP, a full-service audit, tax, accounting and advisory firm is proud to announce the hire of Meredith Damm as Managing Director of Transaction Advisory Services. Meredith will be based out of Hancock Askew’s Atlanta office.
Meredith will oversee transaction advisory related services which includes business valuation, strategic growth consulting, due diligence, quality of earnings analyses, and litigation support services. Her focus will not only be in providing leadership and technical expertise in client engagements but also in the growth and development of the practice on a firmwide level.

Meredith Damm, ASA, has spent a significant portion of her 28-year career involved in M&A, valuation and strategic consulting. Her past leadership positions have gained her direct experience with valuation and related advisory services for a variety of purposes, including: mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, bankruptcy/turnaround, litigation, financial reporting, 409A compliance, ESOPs, litigation, and estate and tax planning. Meredith has also provided clients with strategic advisory services where she counseled companies throughout the transaction life cycle from pre-acquisition pricing, process improvement and strategic planning to post-acquisition services including synergy analysis and measurement, ASC 350 goodwill impairment valuations, and strategic and human capital integration. She has worked with companies across a wide variety of industries with a particular focus on FinTech, automotive and national restaurant/franchise concepts. Meredith is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers. She graduated from Birmingham Southern College with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and from Georgia State University with an MBA concentration in Finance.
